Build the freelance career you actually want.

1:1 coaching for designers ready to leave salary mode and build a practice they own — positioning, offers, marketing, and a client process that does not burn them out.

Coaching — preview

Your craft is not the problem. Everything around it is.

If any of these sound familiar, this coaching is built for you.

WITHOUT A SYSTEM

  • You know you're good but can't articulate why a client should hire you over the next portfolio in the inbox.

  • You'd freelance tomorrow if you had even one repeatable way to find clients.

  • You charge what you would accept, not what the work is worth.

  • You've closed a project but you're winging it from intake to handoff.

WITH A SYSTEM

  • You have a positioning statement that filters out the wrong clients before they email.

  • You have a marketing system you can run in two hours a week and trust to deliver.

  • Your offers are scoped to outcomes, with prices you can defend out loud.

  • Your client process — intake, contract, kickoff, handoff — is documented and repeatable.

What we cover.

01

Positioning

Stop competing with every designer in the feed. We build a position that filters good clients in, bad ones out, and that you can articulate in one sentence — not a paragraph.

02

Your offer

From "here's my hourly rate" to scoped engagements with outcomes, fixed prices, and clear best-for / not-for. Real packages clients understand without asking three follow-up questions.

03

Marketing strategy

Less LinkedIn theatre, more compounding. We pick the one or two channels you can actually maintain, build the content engine, and put outbound on rails so it doesn't feel like cold-spamming.

04

Client process

Templates and checklists for every touchpoint — discovery call, proposal, contract, kickoff, weekly cadence, handoff. So you stop reinventing the wheel and start defending scope, timelines, and price.

The offer.

Common questions.

Who is this for?

Designers with at least 2-3 years of in-house or agency experience who want to build a real freelance practice — not a side hustle. You should already know how to design; we work on the business around it.

How long is the engagement?

Three months minimum. That is enough time to ship the positioning, the offer, and the first client process — and to have you actively running the marketing system before we end.

What if I am not sure I want to freelance full-time?

Most people I coach start as moonlighters. The work is the same — the goal is a practice that can scale to full-time when you are ready, not a forced jump.

Will you teach me design?

No. This is coaching on the business, the offer, and the process around your design work. If you need fundamentals coaching, ADPList has great mentors for that.

How fast can we start?

Within 2 weeks of signing. The first session is a full audit — your positioning, your offer, your funnel, your last three projects — so we leave with a clear roadmap.

Can we talk before I commit?

Yes. The first call is a 30-min intro to make sure we are a fit on both sides. Book it via the CTA — I do not run sales calls, just an honest conversation.
